Wastewater purification technology using microorganisms: 'BIO-RESE System'

Attention food factories! With custom-made microorganisms for complete decomposition, a significant reduction in sludge generation from wastewater treatment is possible!

In recent years, due to the increased awareness of environmental issues, regulations on wastewater discharge for manufacturing companies have become stricter. In this context, the BIO-RESE system has been developed. This system targets the pollutants contained in wastewater by developing and breeding custom-made microorganisms with particularly high purification capabilities. These microorganisms are artificially introduced into contaminated sites, and by maximizing their abilities using a biojet reactor device, the environment can be efficiently restored and purified in a short time. For example: - Large amounts of sludge are generated - The maintenance and management of activated sludge have become costly - The salinity of the wastewater is high, resulting in poor biological treatment efficiency - There are odor issues such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide We develop microorganisms that can address these individual problems and provide solutions. Additionally, the system can be added to existing facilities, and there is no need for specialized maintenance personnel, which helps keep both installation and running costs low. The BIO-RESE system assists in achieving significant cost reductions. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*

DOWA Ecosystem Soil Purification Technology

DOWA Ecosystem Soil Purification Technology

DOWA Ecosystem's soil purification business conducts a comprehensive process from investigation to purification treatment and monitoring. We assess all conditions comprehensively to select the optimal treatment methods such as soil washing, chemical/thermal decomposition, and biodegradation. We respond broadly not only to heavy metals but also to VOCs (volatile organic compounds), oil contamination, as well as buried waste and complex pollution. DOWA Ecosystem has evolved various professional technologies developed from mining and refining techniques into soil purification technologies, providing solutions at the highest domestic level. ■ Exploration technology ■ Water treatment and groundwater purification technology ■ Research and technology development ■ Concentration technology Through various organic collaborations within the DOWA Group, we are developing comprehensive environmental businesses, achieving true recycling. ■ Soil purification plant: 50,000 tons/month ■ Thermal treatment plant: 78,000 tons/month ■ Managed final disposal site: 4,700,000 m³ ■ For other functions and details, please download the catalog or contact us.

Composite Microbial Preparation for Oil Contaminated Soil and Groundwater Purification Technology

Utilizing the decomposition ability of microorganisms to purify oil-contaminated soil and groundwater.

There are animal oils, vegetable oils, and mineral oils, but generally, "soil and groundwater contamination by oil" refers to contamination caused by petroleum products primarily composed of petroleum-based hydrocarbons (mineral oil). Additionally, there are various methods for purifying (treating) oil contamination, such as thermal treatment and chemical treatment, but most methods, excluding bioremediation, require secondary waste disposal. Furthermore, the installation and operation of plants require relatively high input energy and can change the properties of soil and groundwater to strongly acidic or strongly alkaline, resulting in high costs and environmental burdens. **Features of Bioremediation** - Utilizes the activity of microorganisms - Requires little input energy - Ultimately breaks down oil into water and carbon dioxide - Does not require secondary waste disposal, resulting in low costs and environmental impact *For more details, please feel free to contact us.*

<Publication of Results> Effective PFAS Remediation Technology with Low Cost and High Efficiency

Effectiveness confirmed in Ministry of the Environment demonstration research! Organic fluorine compound PFAS purification device.

PFAS is a collective term for over 10,000 types of organic fluorine compounds. They are widely used in our daily lives, such as in non-stick coatings for frying pans and foam fire extinguishers, but there are concerns about their carcinogenic risks, and due to their resistance to decomposition, they are regarded as "forever chemicals." The technology of ECO Clean LFP employs a unique filter and powdered activated carbon, achieving effective treatment at low cost while minimizing environmental impact. It addresses the challenges of traditional activated carbon treatment, such as "difficulty in handling," "high disposal costs," and "low removal effectiveness." Furthermore, this technology has been adopted in the Ministry of the Environment's "Demonstration Research" for the fiscal year 2023, and its effectiveness has been confirmed in the purification of actual PFAS-contaminated groundwater. This document provides a clear explanation of regulations and purification technologies related to PFAS! [Contents of the document] ■ Latest trends in PFAS regulations overseas ■ Results of PFAS purification technologies and the Ministry of the Environment's demonstration research ■ Corporate PFAS environmental management roadmap \ Please click "PDF Download" to view the document /

Purification technology for leachate prepared for the risks of organic fluorine compounds "PFAS"

Additional installation of water treatment facilities at the disposal site | We can start with trial operations first.

If you have concerns about PFAS treatment, please feel free to consult us. ■ Considering measures for PFAS (PFOS, PFOA) in leachate from disposal sites ■ Urgent response to PFAS regulations is needed ■ Facing challenges with costs and waste volume in treating high-concentration PFAS ■ Feeling the operational burden and limitations of existing activated carbon treatment ■ Wanting total support from analysis to treatment and disposal ECO Clean LFP is a PFAS treatment technology that combines "high removal performance," "automation," and "low environmental impact." By automatically attaching and detaching powdered activated carbon to a unique filter, it enables efficient and sustainable treatment compared to conventional methods. <Case Study> ECO Clean LFP adopted as a PFAS purification device by a domestic manufacturer for the first time Since April 2023, we have quickly started operating PFAS purification devices in Okinawa Prefecture, providing consistent support from water quality analysis to device design and operation. ECO Clean LFP contributes to PFAS measures in real environments. 【This device will be exhibited at the 2025 New Environmental Exhibition】 Please see below for details. \ We have detailed case materials available. Please download and take a look /
